We may think we are nurturing our garden, but of course it's our garden nurturing us.

Our Awards
We are so good at what we do, we've won awards! We are proud holders of 'The Green Flag' award having won it every year since 2021/22. Our Green Flag flies high in our Front Garden. Keep an eye out for it just inside our main entrance.
The Green Flag Award is operated by An Taisce in Ireland, and supported by the Department of Rural and Community Development and the Gaeltacht. The award recognises Ireland's best parks and green spaces.
The Green Flag is
"the international quality benchmark for the public green space sector - now operating in 30 countries around the world... Now in its 30th year, the programme uses eight key criteria for its assessment. All sites implement a management framework, and then undergo an annual inspection conducted by qualified judges." (1).
We were delighted to be awarded The Green Flag once again in 2025! We first won it in 2021/22, when we were voted by the people's choice as one of the Top Ten Green Flag sites in the world! Read about our first win in The Irish Independent 10/2/2022.
Some happy members below showing off our coveted Green Flag in 2025!
Thanks to all our members and supporters for their hard work in helping us win The Green Flag. This is definitely a team effort! And thank you to the judges for their careful consideration of our efforts.
